Why Debbie Wall is Passionate About LBCC

Debbie’s journey into international student support was inspired by her belief that education has the power to change lives. As a Sociology graduate from Cal State Long Beach, she has always been fascinated by people, cultures, and social interactions.

"I loved learning about groups of people, different types of people—this is the place to do it," she shares.

Long Beach itself is known as the International City, a place where cultures from around the world come together. For international students, this means an opportunity to experience diversity in the classroom, on campus, and throughout the entire city.
